The business is owned by Rick Drew with locations in New Hope and Randall, MN. He tells his story below.

“I started out in the industry at the age of 14, I worked in the summers pruning trees and removing trees for a family friend. By the age of 18 I was then climbing the trees and doing the ground work at the business.

I then chose to get a education in the horticulture field were I attended Brainerd’s CLC and achieved a landscape architect degree and a SAD in horticulture.

After I graduated at the age of 21, I then started my own business after doing the job for over 7 years and went on my own. I found a couple friends that were willing to work hard put tons of time in and make it happen with me.

I’m now 30 years old in my 9th year running my business and couldn’t be happier. We practice proper pruning on all trees, we remove all trees big, small, easy, and hard. We also practice proper cabling for stressed trees.

Our business grew fast by word of mouth and leaving the yard as clean as it was before we got there. All of our customers are asked before the job is complete if everything was was satisfactory.

Then we do a real good clean up and don’t collect unless the customer is satisfied.

We also give repeat customer discounts and that, in itself, brings back customers!
